Happy Six Sentence Sunday! Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to read this week's snippet. I really appreciate your time and the comments you leave for me.
Today I'm offering more from The Beltane Witch. In this snippet, Sabrina wakes to find herself at the edge of a rope suspension bridge over a misty chasm and she still can't seem to breathe. Just as she starts to panic, Darius appears in the middle of the span and reaches out to her.
Even in his hazy state, he looked noble and strong. She’d thought him beautiful, even in her waking moments, but standing in the center of the bridge he only represented the unknown.
“Come with me, Sabrina.”
How did he have breath here and she didn’t?
“You must focus, my dear. You must make the first step to come back with me.”
Where is she really and why is he so insistent on her coming back? Tune in next week. ;) There are several great authors on the Six Sentence Sunday list and a few of my favorites are Karla Doyle, Sarah Ballance, Silver James, Zee Monodee, and Goran Zidar. Thank you for stopping by and happy reading! :)
